The website of Govt. Industrial Training Institute for Women (GITIW), Sector 11, Chandigarh which is being launched would provide information to students and other stakeholders of society at their comfort. It is also heartening to put on record that the GITIW has taken steps in the recent past to upgrade itself and bridge the gap between the curriculum of GITIW and needs of industry. The website will be highly beneficial to all concerned. 

I am honoured and feel very privileged to be the Principal of Govt. Industrial Training Institute for Women . I convey my best wishes to the students on their admission in various trades in this institute . I wish all the students a very happy  and bright future so that they can enhance their skills under the guidance of the expert faculty and equip themselves well so that we will be able to place them and cater to the needs of Industry .
